Overview/Summary
This is a series of contracts with the manufacturers of the commodities sought. "Manufacturer" is defined as the entity responsible for the warranty and guarantee of the commodity when purchased.
VARs, resellers, partners, etc. of awarded contractors may be involved in the transaction, at the option of the participating state and the awarded contractor.
The current contract is a re-solicitation of a contract originally issued by the State of New Mexico which became available on September 1, 1999.
This contract provides PC's and related commodities (including printers, small servers, LAN/WAN storage devices, monitors) to participating states, local units of government and other authorized entities. It allows for very limited professional services directly related to the purchase of PC's. It has an individual "unit" price limit of $100,000 (may be reduced by an individual state in its participating addendum).
